Liam Payne, a former member of One Direction, has died. He was 31.
Payne died after falling from the third floor of a hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, according to state police reported by ABC and CNN.
Buenos Aires police told The Associated Press in a statement that Payne’s fall resulted in “extremely serious injuries.” Medics confirmed his death on the spot, the statement said.
He died of trauma and internal and external bleeding, according to an autopsy performed in Buenos Aires after his death.
